Today I am going to write about the history of food and beverage.
How did it came into existence? Quite interesting.
The journey of food and beverage start with humanity itself. Earlier people used to gather on the birth or death of anyone in the family or on any special occasion and large number of people used to get served.
Food and beverage already existed during ancient, but it truly came into limelight when "Nicholas Appert" "Father of Canning". He invented various ways of conserving all kind of food substances in containers ; later French biologist, microbiologist and chemist "Louis Pasteur" he invented "pasteurization" and the principles of vaccination and microbial fermentation. It got helpful more after "world war II" when people needed canned and pasteurized food. It paved way for innovation in the food industry.

Today there are around 2 million hotels in the world with many different name , each property having its own uniqueness who are serving the guest with enthusiasm and dedication.
Hospitality started touching success as the tourism increased , as tourism increased we started getting well versed with different food type different beverages and with that many lost ingredients were found ,many beverages got invented and with that the export and import business started.
With tourism global corporate chains merge and and hotel groups started owning inns and another hotel under, eg. Marriott own renaissance ; Accorhotel own Raffle, Sofitel and Novotel.
This is the progress achieved by humams in hospitality industry.
